What is Poetic Worship?

Poetry is defined as the art of rhythmical composition, written or spoken, for exciting pleasure by beautiful, imaginative, or elevated thoughts.

Worship is defined as reverent honor and homage paid to God or a sacred personage, or to any object regarded as sacred.

Poetic Worship is written or spoken compositions used to reverence, honor and pay homage to my God, who sent His only son, Jesus Christ to die so that I may have an abundant life today and eternal life after death; written and spoken in a manner that is beautiful, imaginative and given to elevated thoughts as these thoughts are inspired by the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit! In addition, Poetic Worship is meant to encourage, convict, and excite the hearer to accept Jesus as their personal savior or encourage those already saved to take their relationship with Christ to the next level.
